East-Tec and east-tec Eraser have been selected as a case study in "Securing the Digital DNA. The Three Seas Region", a joint publication of the Kosciuszko Institute and Google.
The report, which was presented at the fifth edition of the European Cybersecurity Forum (CYBERSEC), shows a few selected start-ups and scale-ups that "share one trait: behind them are teams of CEE innovators poised to disrupt the global cybersecurity market."
The East-Tec's case study is aptly named "Right to be deleted":
In the context of new data regulations such as GDPR, the whole life cycle governance of digital information is becoming an important element of security and privacy policies. Accordingly, 'the right to be deleted' that East-tec offers is no longer the domain of nerds or experts, and is becoming a basic consumer and citizen right.
